Halloween Sydney 2017 what to do

Love your zombies, skeletons and ghosts but love your fitness too? Well, lucky for you Sydney has a bunch of great events on to satisfy your needs. Here is our round up of the best halloween-themed fitness events in the next week. Book a ticket asap and start thinking about your costume!

Halloween In The House Spin Class – InnerFit

27 October, 6.30pm, Leichhardt
Is there a better way to welcome the dead than a spin class? Yes! A dress-up spin class… the guys at InnerFit (known for their epic costume spin nights) are putting on a Halloween extravaganza, and they even have prizes for best dressed. Join them for a drink next door at the White Cockatoo Hotel afterwards. Free for members,  $28 for non members. Book here

Future Sounds of Yoga Halloween Special

If you haven’t experienced the cathartic mix of yoga and free dance that is Future Sounds of Yoga, there is no better time than this weekend. Their Halloween Special will feature guided yoga with Angel Singmin, backed by a playlist curated by DJ SOLON – expect Boards of Canada, James Blake, FKA Twigs, Massive Attack and Radiohead, and more. $35, Book Bondi or Book Freshwater

Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ dance class – Dance Central 
28 October, 12.30pm, $30, Surry Hills
If you’ve always wanted to rock the dance floor when MJ comes on the decks, this dance class is for you. Learn his classic Thriller moves just in time for Halloween with the professionals at Dance Central. You’ll sweat and learn new moves at the same time. Their last class sold out, so get in quick. $30. Book here.

Jurassic Lounge ‘Halloween Special’ – Australian Museum

28 October, 7pm, Sydney CBD
Jurassic Lounge, the nighttime takeover of the Australian Museum, is always a crowd-pleaser, but this weekend they have pulled out all stops. This Halloween Jurassic Park, apart from great bands and access to all galleries after dark, will also have Vampire Meditation, Thriller Dance lessons and a silent disco. Plus, you know, organ dissection and taxidermy for beginners (yes, seriously) and live snakes and bats. $25 in advance, or $30 on the door. Book here.

Light The City Guided Ride – City of Sydney
 28 October, 7pm, North Sydney to the CBD
Grab your bike and join this guided ride around North Sydney and into the city to the Light the City Festival. The festival covers nearly all 2.5km of Mrs Macquaries road down to the Harbour. Once there look out for the Halloween silent disco, the roller dancing challenge and the Glitter Ball Area with limbo dancing, soul train and jump rope. Free. Book Here.
